Who needs a throne fit for a king when you could have a chair designed by a prince instead! This iconic work of Scandinavian modern design boasts an impressive pedigree, conceived by Prince Sigvard Bernadotte, artist and son of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. Built by the world-famous craftsmen of Denmark's France & Daverkosen, this solid teak chair displays a beautiful natural woodgrain with gentle carved armrests. The upholstered backrest is able to recline with unique brass ball pivots. The chair has been restored with foam fill replacement to the seat and back, while maintaining the factory original glossy black leatherette. Prince Sigvard's signature is stamped to the underside of the seat, as well as makers marks from France & Son and the original retailer, John Stuart of Michigan.
